Koan Practice Classes Fall 2017

There will be four koans presented from the Book of Serenity. We will practice with a different koan each class. The expectation is that each koan is read by the class participants prior to the class commencing.
Koan Practice consists of short meditation sessions accompanied with writing a personal brief response. Discussion and sharing follows the meditation and writing sessions.
Since koans are public cases, there is always something in the koan that will resonate with your life. The meditation sessions are periods of "sitting with the koan" providing the time to settle into a koan phrase, a metaphor, a word.
